Some functionalities of Cloud9 IDE are not working, what can I do?

Possible solutions that might cause the IDE to not behave as expected:

- Company firewall (Please contact your system engineer)

- Cache problem (Please clear your cache)

- Any installed Anti-Virus Software (e.g. Avast AntiVirus)

- Extensions installed / used in browser 

For Google Chrome you can try the incognito mode to see if Cloud9 IDE works properly without extensions. Please check this article: Incognito mode for Chrome

Some extension(s) that block the IDE:


For FireFox users:
  • Please make sure you have disabled FireFox AdBlocker

We are working on this list (please comment if you know of any extension that is interfering with the behavior of the IDE, thank you!)

I am stuck in "guest mode" and not able to login and edit my files.

Guest mode means that you are not logged in or not the owner of the project. Have you tried to login via c9.io and reopen the project?

All files is missing!

Something gone wrong with my small project. I was working with cloud9 ide online today and everything on my workspace suddenly vaporizes. I couldnt find any file there :-( I know that cloud9 is a enviroment for tests, but I just started the project some days ago and all my work is missing.
